Beginners Dressmaking workshop finished skirt

Had a wonderful day teaching on Saturday 23rd March, met the lovely Sally and together we created this skirt from a pattern made to fit her measurements. The pattern was a simple one with only 5 pattern pieces, a front, a back,a waistband and two for the pocket. We used some machine embroidery on the waistband to secure the lining in place which completed the skirt nicely and finished all the seams with the overlocker.
